Untapped Distribution
National distribution is a stumbling block when you’re independent. The industry uses Distribution Company’s as a way to out run independent manufacturers, and when they out run us, they close the door behind them. Untapped distribution is a company that accepts independent products, and shops them to small businesses such as Untapped Records Retail. As our business fluctuates we will gain the respect of larger businesses, opening the distribution door for independents that were locked out.
Untapped distribution is a warehouse of independent products (CD’s, Mixtapes, records, books, clothes, and magazines) we stock and sell in our store, and also other stores that are interested in what we have. We will shop indie products to fellow businesses and have mark-ups on the wholesale prices.
It will be our job to find quality freelance products in the independent market, and set up wholesale orders with the producer.
